Are you looking to cover the most dynamic, important commodity story in the world? Uncover what goes into making what ends up on your plate? Bloomberg is seeking an enterprising reporter to cover agriculture markets in Brazil, with a focus on coffee, sugar and ethanol. We want someone who can break the biggest stories in a key supplier to the world while also being able to chronicle the vast changes happening in what we eat and how it’s grown. The successful candidate must be comfortable interviewing executives in the boardroom as well as farmers out in the field. We're looking for an aggressive reporter, able to break important news and then step back and write the definitive story explaining why it matters to a broad audience. You must able to work as part of a multinational team, as well as collaborate with Bloomberg's website, TV, radio, Green and Businessweek. You'll be expected to perform independently at the highest standards, while also enthusiastically supporting bureau and group efforts and collaborating across teams and regions.
