Finance Reporter - Mumbai

Bloomberg News is hiring an India finance reporter to be based in Mumbai. We are seeking an experienced journalist who can generate scoops and compelling analysis, and can handle everything from breaking news to long-form enterprise stories. You are a driven, well-rounded reporter who either has or can quickly build a network of contacts within India's banking and finance industry. You will also work closely with colleagues in regional bureaus and in Bloomberg's global Finance and Investing teams. Your key focus will be India's financial story, covering the changes to the banking system, following how the RBI's actions impact the sector, and how the pandemic impacts banks' balance sheets. You will also write about shadow banks, fintech and help reporters cover related markets such as crypto and corporate credit.
