You will work with reporters to help generate ideas and frame stories so they resonate with our readers. ESG has emerged as top investment themes across the world, and readers are hungry for news, especially on Japan, where the market is expected to rapidly grow.Ultimately, our goal is to chronicle the ESG boom in as clear-eyed a way as possible. As an ESG editor, you will follow closely overseas regulatory developments, especially in Europe, and connect the dots to make them relevant to the Japanese readers from a financial markets angle. You will also encouraged to work with English language team as well as JBN reporters on the Finance, Markets, and Energy desks. Collaboration with various bureaus, teams and departments will be essential to leverage our resources and offer unique coverage on ESG that differentiates us from local competitors.
