The Boulder Daily Camera newspaper in Boulder County, Colo., is looking for an experienced journalist who specializes in higher education to serve as the higher education reporter, covering the University of Colorado, especially the Boulder campus, Front Range Community College’s Longmont campus and Naropa University for the web and print editions. The ideal candidate is a seasoned journalist with 3 to 5 years of experience as a higher education reporter, who is a master of AP style and who will help cultivate a strong audience, both online and in the community. The ideal candidate will be a strong storyteller and will possess a unique journalistic voice. The ideal candidate will develop a social media presence as the go-to person for news about higher education in Boulder County, both in daily and enterprise story format. Candidates should be well-versed in social media, search-engine optimization and will be able to cultivate fresh ideas to bring to the Daily Camera and its sister newspapers.
