Within this role you will be delivering supporting content for awards, media relations, external communications, key marketing projects, digital and social engagement strategies.
As The Copywriter, You Will Have The Opportunity To Work With Limited Supervision And Use Your Specialist Knowledge In The Below Channels, To Develop Targeted And Effective Content
Awards submissions, media outlets, BHI’s websites, publications, electronic direct mail (eDM), social media, support communication for all BHI-run events (both student recruitment and Alumni events), speech notes and faculty-produced webinar presentations.
Collect/source current and accurate information and engaging stories to inform content creation for a range of online and offline channels.
Work collaboratively with the PR and Communications team to ensure effective management of the content pipeline.
Assess and review self-developed content and content reviewed by others, with an understanding of complex issues to provide authoritative recommendations for awards and all other communications.
Exercising autonomy, making tactical decisions within the scope of the tasks, under pressure and in order to achieve accountabilities which are strategic and tactical.
You will be developing and contributing to Student Recruitment and Alumni marketing activity whilst maintaining brand reputation and image; contributing to the overall success of the BHI Marketing team.
The BHI Marketing team consists of four service teams: Digital, Campaigns, Events and Communications. The team plays an integral role in BHI’s student value chain by providing leadership in the development and delivery of holistic and distinctive marketing services and outcomes.
This is an ongoing, full time opportunity and salary is PACCT 6 $77,949.00 per annum (exclusive of superannuation).
About You
A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or equivalent
Demonstrated experience in a similar role
Experience working in a communications role and/or developing digital communications content
Experience in implementing and supporting awards campaigns is preferable but not mandatory.
Knowledge of communications best practice
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, strong attention to detail and an ability to research, write, edit and produce communication for a variety of communication channels
Skills in developing both digital and print collateral. Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 products (preferably with SharePoint experience)
Strong relationship management skills and the ability to interact, influence and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders
Proactive and self-starting, seizes opportunities and acts upon them whilst taking responsibility for own actions, time management skills
