Summary:
The main function of the Learning / Instructional Design Specialist is to build learning content that helps drive skill-acquisition and behavior change. You should expect to use a variety of learning modalities based on the desired outcomes. Content will be used to educate on platforms, new tools, new ways of working etc. You should be proficient in building instructional content that can be shared across multiple channels--e.g., websites, blogs, videos, infographics, self-paced experiences.
What you’ll be working on
Job Responsibilities:
Build a variety of training interventions that support the adoption and experimentation with
new ways of working.
Lead projects through the design lifecycle, providing clear timelines through all phases, communicating with key partners
Leverage appropriate learning modalities (eLearning, instructor-led etc.); and manage the development of instructional materials (tutorials, digital activities, user guides, audio and video scripts, story boards, navigational text, tests, etc.) with input from collaborators.
You will be responsible for analyzing and refining learning interventions based on learner feedback, assessments and efficacy measures.
Skills:
Effective oral and written communication.
Knowledge of training methodologies, instructional design, and learning management systems.
Problem-solving skills.
Strategic and organizational planning skills.
Knowledge of various tools HTML, Photoshop, Rise360, Adobe, and video editing software.
Previous experience with Atlassian products, such as Confluence, is a plus.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training required.
5-7 years related experience required.
