Brookline.News, a hyperlocal, nonprofit digital news site in Brookline, MA, is seeking a part-time reporter. Come join our fast-growing newsroom in the exciting world of nonprofit journalism, and help break local stories that are not being covered anywhere else!

This position is 20 hours a week, and scheduling is flexible depending on the candidate. This is a remote position, but will require in-person reporting in Brookline on a regular basis. The reporter will cover breaking news and a beat, and will be encouraged to write enterprise and investigative stories.

Applicants should have experience working in a professional news setting, writing both news and feature stories. Experience in local or community news is preferred, as is multimedia experience. Knowledge of Brookline is a plus.

The salary for this part-time position will range between $25,000 and $39,000 annually. The reporter will also receive a health insurance stipend.
