Corporate Communications Specialist

BTIG is looking to add an experienced professional to the Corporate Communications team in New York. The Associate serves as an integral part of a high energy, highly-productive team responsible for strategic and tactical marketing activities which support the firm’s global initiatives. In this newly created position, the Associate will be responsible for producing and editing print and digital content for global marketing, sales, and public relations purposes as well as for internal communications.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience as a financial services writer and editor with exposure to marketing and public relations. In this role, he or she will ensure that the messaging is clear and that there is a consistent style and voice throughout all marketing and communications touch points. This is a hands-on role within our firm, requiring someone who is organized and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in the securities, banking and/or asset management industries, specifically communicating with the institutional investor and corporate community. Strong verbal communication skills are also required and experience with content management systems and social media strategy is a plus. Graphic design, HTML and marketing automation platform experience is also very valuable. The successful candidate should have a proven track record for working with a sense of urgency and a strong attention to detail.
