Assignment Editor

KCBS2/KCAL9 TV, the CBS Owned & Operated Duopoly in Los Angeles, is seeking a full-time Assignment Editor.

Required Skills/Experience:

Candidates must be able to:

Coordinate multiple live field crews
Gather accurate information from the public, public agencies, and companies
Maintain and manage strong people and communication skills in a competitive environment
Work under intense deadline pressure

Candidates must have:

At least five years of experience as an Assignment Editor
A passion for breaking news

Preferred Skills/Experience:

Top twenty market experience
Knowledge of the Southern California area
