The Celina Daily Standard is seeking a Managing Editor to oversee the print and online content of our newspaper. Candidates must be familiar with daily deadlines, have strong editing and leadership skills along with a working knowledge of page design.

The Daily Standard is an independent, family owned newspaper published six days a week. The Editor will join a seasoned and self-motivated staff of eight in the newsroom who are adept at meat-and-potatoes community journalism, entertainment, sports and informative features wrapped a captivating design.

The future Editor should have experience in the trenches of community journalism, a background in covering government, schools and the ability to find captivating features. This head of the editorial department should be eager to edit tons of copy and proof pages.

We are looking for an editor who wants to join the team that won Ohio’s APME Award of General Excellence in 2021.
