Medical Editor

Compensation Range: $40.00 - 53.70 per hour

Our client, a global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Medical Editor to join their dynamic team!

As a Medical Editor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of medical content across various communication channels. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to uphold the highest standards in medical communications.

Responsibilities:

Perform copy editing, spell checks, and proofreads of pharmaceutical promotional materials including brochures, presentations, banner ads, emails, websites for direct-to-consumer and healthcare professionals and other materials, as assigned.
Perform fact checks to ensure all medical claims are cited and scientifically accurate, including linking and anchoring within Veeva Vault.
Collaborate with Internal Agency colleagues to ensure materials show consistency, grammar, style, completeness, and accuracy for several healthcare brands.

Qualifications:

Experience level: Experienced
Minimum 5 years of experience
Education: Bachelors (required)
Quality Control & Documentation Skills: strong QC skills to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance in pharmaceutical content including reviewing data, clinical trial documents, labeling, and promotional materials, aligning with requirements.
Knowledge and adherence to AMA style.
Expert in working within Veeva Vault.
