Since London was established as Chanel headquarters in 2020, the community of global-focused employees based in London has grown tremendously. The role of HQ Communications manager is to animate this community in London – through events, through written communications, through tools and platforms, and through our physical space. You will shape the experience of working at Chanel for our employees, helping to reinforce a One House mentality across our teams, and creating opportunities to strengthen our relationship-based culture.

In this role, you will:

In the next 2-3 years, be the communication lead for the project team tasked with moving our community to a new space – helping the project team think through change management and create an engagement plan around the move for medium-term
including writing and packaging communications and exploring technology and benefits to enhance the experience
Manage overall communications for our HQ audience – from emails to creating content for our intranet platform that brings to life the Brand, and the stories of our People, for each other
Develop a calendar of engagement for our teams in our current space, while establishing the strategy and plans for engagement in our future house
Help align leaders around key employee engagement topics for the house – from instigating a flexibility posture to coordinating flu shots
Contribute to our global communications community by sharing initiatives, best practices, and collaborating on content

Position requirements

Excellent communication and story-telling skills
Event planning

Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Teams, Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite

Experience in intranet platforms
Experience in project management
