The Chattanooga Times Free Press is looking for an experienced and versatile journalist to help lead our award-winning newsroom. The job requires a minimum of three years of experience at a daily newspaper in reporting and editing positions, a great work ethic, a team mindset and lots of creativity. You should be able to work collaboratively, balancing the demands of digital and print platforms, editing stories quickly for the web and then turning attention to more enterprising pieces for the weekend and beyond. You must be able to help reporters stay on top of the news, handle data, spot trends and hold the powerful to account with enterprise and investigative coverage.
