The Role

At Checkout.com, we believe in driving innovation and collaboration to deliver exceptional business outcomes. As a leading player in the payments industry, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way merchants experience and benefit from our products. We're seeking a dynamic and expert writer and storyteller to join our Product MarComms team.

How You’ll Make An Impact

Produce high quality perspectives, narratives and updates that disrupt, demonstrate authority and drive conversion
Utilize and elevate longform formats such as blogs, whitepapers, case studies, podcasts, webinars, demos and more.
Collaborate closely with Product Marketing Managers (PMMs), creative, commercial and demand gen to ensure content supports campaign direction, lead generation, product usage and post-sales engagement efforts
Leverage data and research to refine strategies, optimize engagement and deliver to business goals
Ensure all content is well-written, error-free, and consistent with our brand voice and style guidelines.
Employ SEO best practices to ensure assets are ranked and are findable in the digital world.
Stay updated on industry and writing best practices, technologies and frameworks.

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience writing within payments (5-8 years), fintech or other complex B2B tech industries
You know how to create engaging blogs, case studies, whitepapers, podcasts, webinars that have journalistic value and are done interestingly.
Experience working at pace and in creative formats that resonates with Enterprise buyers and those in the ecosystem they look to and trust
A strong understanding of how to craft merchant-centric narratives and perspectives that are inspiring, unique and drive conversion
You can navigate a face-paced working environment where agility and competing priorities are a part of the journey
Highly organized and thorough with a natural inclination for both ideation setting and tactical execution, you're happy to work at both altitudes
A self-starter who takes initiative and ownership to create cross-functional alignment and achieve the vision set
You're humble, collaborative with a growth mindset
