The successful candidate must be self-motivated, a team player, possess strong news judgment, write cleanly, multi-task and maintain a commitment to accuracy while working quickly. The role also entails keeping an eye on what is driving audience interest and best SEO and headline practices. Experience covering police and criminal justice is a plus.
