This position entails covering how major policy issues - including housing, economic development, education, and transportation - affect residents in Massachusetts' Gateway Cities, former industrial centers that are home to many of the state's immigrants. The reporter writes daily pieces as well as long-form articles about the challenges these cities face in their efforts to promote economic mobility among residents and restore vitality to their local economy, focusing on the experiences of local residents.
Salary and Benefits:
$65,000 - $75,000
Health insurance is provided by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care HMO Flex 2500 and is fully covered for full-time employees.
We offer unlimited paid time off which must be approved by the employee's direct supervisor.
Our offices are closed for 13 paid holidays in 2025: Patriots' Day (April 21); Memorial Day (May 26); Juneteenth (June 19); Independence Day (July 4); Labor Day (September 1); Indigenous Peoples Day (October 13); Veterans Day (November 11): Thanksgiving (November 27-28); and Christmas (December 25).
This position will be:
