Who we are:
Established for almost 30 years, Music Maker Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
We seek out carriers of America's oldest roots music traditions, developing long-term relationships with senior artists who excel in these traditions
Our programs support vulnerable musicians marginalized by age, poverty, race, and gender, and provide grants, social services, and performance opportunities
With a focus on musicians 55 years and older, we preserve and document American roots music through audio, video, and photography

Position: Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities:
Create and manage editorial content across digital platforms
Develop and execute digital communication strategy
Write articles for website
Conduct interviews with artists for content creation
Create and edit video content
Oversee social media accounts and drive strategic growth
Handle media relations and press releases
Maintain and enhance website
Contribute to outreach programs, events, and fundraising initiatives
Support Music Maker exhibits and archival maintenance
