It is the responsibility of the Communications Manager to promote Kansas City as a favorable tourist/meeting destination through the development, coordination and implementation of public relations strategies.
This role contributes to Visit KC's brand awareness by generating local and regional media coverage that both supports and furthers the destination.
This role assists Visit KC's Marketing & Communications team in the development and curation of content marketing strategies which elevate Kansas City as a premier travel and tourism destination. This includes key brand communications, consumer-facing content and social media strategies that support/enhance the image of Visit KC and the Kansas City region.
