About the role

As a Communications Officer, you will be at the forefront of developing and delivering communications strategies aligned with our overarching LLS communications strategy. You will manage and maintain key communication partnerships and work closely with senior management and stakeholders to promote LLS’ work, achievements, projects and activities.

You will provide expert communications advice, create and implement effective communications plans and produce campaign materials including media releases, digital content, advertisements, videos, case studies and other communications assets. You will also manage budgets and obtain appropriate partner and stakeholder approvals.

Our ideal candidate will value collaboration and continuous learning, so your role will also involve being a team player and sharing knowledge and insights with your colleagues. You should be comfortable managing various platforms and possess exceptional writing and creative skills. Experience in managing project communications is key.

Essential Requirements:

Tertiary qualifications in communications/journalism, International Association of Public Participation certification or other relevant discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience
Current NSW Class C Driver’s license and the ability and willingness to travel throughout NSW
