Hybrid work environment

The role
Under the direction of the Director, External Relations, the Communications Specialist supports the department’s activities, such as daily media monitoring and distribution of clips, communications planning and execution, correspondence with internal and external stakeholders, and website and intranet content creation and posting. The Communications Specialist supports and, in some cases, leads the planning and execution of RECO’s external and internal events. External events may include the annual general meeting, the election of RECO’s board of directors, meetings with executive officers of Ontario real estate boards and advisory groups and committees, as well as presentations to local real estate boards. Internal events include staff town halls and regular staff social events. Other responsibilities include assisting the External Relations team with a variety of communications projects.
