Communications Specialist
The Virginia IT Agency (VITA) is seeking an hourly wage Communication Specialist.

The successful hourly wage candidate will be an exceptional communicator and strong writer, including experience with:
Internal, customer and external communications support, including copy writing for newsletters, leadership messages, talking points, video scripts, PowerPoint creation, social media content, etc.
Event planning, strategic planning, campaign development, web content creation, media relations, public committee support, with opportunities to support other functions as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in communications, marketing or a related field.
Experience creating communications plans/campaigns, writing professionally, photography and developing web and digital content.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

Media and/or Technology Proficiency
Digital Marketing.
Presentation Skills.
