We are seeking a full-time Community News Editor to take the reins of a weekly community newspaper in Florence, Ore. The Siuslaw News covers the communities of Florence, Mapleton, Dunes City and upriver. We are committed to providing local news, and believe strong community newspapers lead the way. Our print and online content backs up our passion for local news. The ideal candidate has the ability to focus on all aspects of community journalism, including taking photographs and writing news stories, and possesses an instinctual knack for digital journalism.
