Construction Reporter

The Construction Association of Michigan is seeking a full time Construction Reporter. This individual will be responsible for publishing timely and accurate information about construction projects and real estate developments that are in the planning stages throughout Michigan and surrounding areas. Daily tasks include researching projects, making contact with design firms and developers, attending industry events, and publishing relevant details to a subscriber-based website. Occasionally, additional writing duties, such as editorial contributions to CAM Magazine and event coverage/blog posts will be assigned. Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Journalism or related field, or equivalent job experience in Journalism, Business Development, Public Relations, or Marketing for the Construction Industry. Applicants must be computer literate and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Background in investigative journalism covering real estate development or business acquisitions and mergers preferred.
