Automated Content Writer & Fact Checker

The Automated Content Writer & Fact-Checker role supports the editorial team at ConsumerAffairs by generating accurate and readable automated content. This position collaborates with and receives feedback from the Associate Editor. While the primary focus is on creating company profiles for auto dealerships, opportunities to work on other projects may arise, with future compensation varying based on the project.

Responsibilities:

Research and fact-check information pertaining to car dealerships
Enter verified information into Google Forms to generate automated profiles
Edit automated profiles to align with AP Style and in-house style guidelines
Utilize AI tools to validate locations and other details
Incorporate editorial feedback and adapt to new processes as they improve

Requirements

The ideal candidate:

Possesses AP Style experience
Understands SEO best practices
Works independently to manage time effectively
