Content Developer and Subject Matter Expert
Edcetera is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Content Developer with elevated expertise in Ultrasound Sonography. The candidate will be responsible for developing educational content utilizing subject matter expertise, adult learning concepts, and asynchronous learning strategies including, but not limited to pre-recorded videos, game-based learning and discussion boards. As a Content Developer, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational content, ensuring its accuracy, relevance, and engagement for our students. The candidate who will succeed appreciates the challenge of creating the content to enable different learning styles to succeed in the field of Ultrasound Sonography. This role may convert into an advisory role once the contract is complete.
Key Responsibilities
Develop comprehensive and up-to-date course materials, including written content, presentations, multimedia elements, and assessments, for our Ultrasound Sonography Course
Create and refine the course curriculum, ensuring it is comprehensive, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards
Ensure that all course content complies with relevant healthcare regulations and industry standards
Develop assessment materials such as quizzes, assignments, and exams to evaluate student understanding and progress throughout the course
Communicate progress with the Education Program Manager and troubleshoot any obstacles
Maintain/develop content utilizing a strong understanding of Ultrasound Sonography products or services
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., medical sonography) is required
ARDMS certification in SPI, AB, BS, OB/GYN or MSK is required
4+ years experience in Ultrasound Sonography
Strong knowledge of Ultrasound Sonography principles and practices, including specialties
Experience in curriculum development and instructional design is preferred
Excellent writing and communication skills
Proficiency with e-learning platforms and content authoring tools
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
An understanding of adult learning principles and online education trends
Compensation
