Job Description:
A content editor is someone who plans, writes, edits, and publishes content for various media platforms, such as websites, blogs, newsletters, and social media. Content editors are responsible for ensuring that the content they produce is engaging, accurate, and consistent with the brand’s voice and style. Content editors also collaborate with other writers, designers, and marketers to create and execute content strategies that meet the needs and expectations of the target audience.
Job Responsibilities of a content editor -
Edit, proofread, and create content for various marketing materials, including but not limited to social media posts, emailers, landing pages, websites, webinars, brochures, whitepapers, press releases, and blogs.
Work with a global team of content editors and writers.
Consistently meet rigorous deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure alignment of content strategy and organizational goals.
Ensure all content is accurate, clear, consistent, and aligns with EC-Council's standards and objectives.
Collaborate with product managers, senior management, and others to ensure technical accuracy.
Drive initiatives for content improvement and innovation.
Stay updated with the latest trends in cybersecurity and content editing.
Who Should Apply -
· Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related field
· Relevant work experience in content creation and editing
· Should be familiar with Content Management systems such as WordPress and proficient in using various software and tools, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
