Content Enhancement Editor

Stefanini is hiring a team of Content Enhancement Editors dedicated to a special SEO-driven content enhancement project. These editors will collaborate with our SEO and Content Strategy teams to consolidate, optimize, and enhance our consumer medical reference content. Assignments will range from implementing minor updates, to merging duplicative articles, to overseeing rewrites outsourced to freelance writers. This editor is responsible for ensuring content accuracy, quality, clarity, and adherence to SEO best practices while prioritizing aggressive deadlines. Candidates should be detail oriented, independent editors with strong communication and critical thinking skills who can work effectively with teams in a virtual work environment. Ability to translate complex medical information into plain language is an essential skill required for this position.

Responsibilities:Updating, optimizing, enhancing, and consolidating existing content per SEO recommendationsEnsuring content is accurate, high quality, and adherent to client style guideFacilitating editorial workflows using custom CMS and project management toolsManaging and editing assignments delegated to freelance writersCollaborating with editorial, publishing, and medical review stakeholders to develop, publish, and optimize content efficiently and effectively

Required Skills 3-5 years' experience creating digital health and medical content for a consumer audience

Required Education:Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related discipline or equivalent experience
