The Role:
We are on the hunt for a captivating Content Producer to join Carter's distribution team, with a knack for making engaging short-form content on camera, working with influencers and coming up with creative content ideas to drive engagement of our platform.
We are all in on making video content specifically for TikTok, Youtube and Twitter. As a Content Producer at Carter, your core task is to live and breathe the culture around talking to AI characters, turn that into great pieces of video content and also work with and organise other influencers on campaigns to make entertaining, engaging and relatable short videos for Carter’s niche audience.
Carter was actually born out of TikTok, with one founder (@huwprosser) having over 1m followers and 80+ million views and the other founder (@dannyhayder) having 13k followers and 4+ million views. We understand short-form content and we are now hiring the right person (potentially you) to help us scale up.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptualise, film, and edit engaging short-form content on Carter’s socials, targeted to our audience.
Conceptualise organise and sometimes star in our paid ad video creatives.
Working with and organising other influencers on campaigns, and the general handling of creative and content pieces across our socials and ad campaigns.
Liaise closely with the founders and core team to understand our users, AI characters and translate their stories into share-worthy content.
Regularly gauge user engagement, analytics and gather feedback to iterate on content strategy.
Repurpose and repost content on other social platforms.
Stay updated with the latest socials trends especially within our core niche, leveraging them to make our content more appealing and relatable.
Requirements:
An extensive portfolio of short video content that highlights your on-camera and editing skills (you have your own TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or Facebook accounts you’ve built a following on – either personal or for a company).
Comfortable being on camera and directing others for content (we craft diverse videos for our audience).
Videography.
Working with influencers.
Based in London and can commute to the office 5 days a week (we are an in-person team).
Avid social media user with a grasp of current trends and challenges.
Enthusiasm for AI and its storytelling capabilities, along with a flair for imaginative content creation.
Proven ability to capture and retain viewer attention.
Distinctive creative editing instincts with a deep understanding of what makes content engaging and shareable.
Bonus:
Previous experience in content creation for consumer facing tech companies.
Previous experience making content for paid ads is a huge bonus.
