Write high-quality, engaging content for digital communications, press releases, gift announcements, and impact reports.
Research and create donor-centric content that resonates with our grateful client audience.
Maintain a consistent voice and tone that aligns with the CVMBS brand and objectives.
Collaborate with the CVMBS/UA communications teams to create content that aligns with our fundraising goals and engagement strategies.
Edit and proofread content for clarity, accuracy, and grammatical correctness.
Provide expertise to improve the quality and relevance of our communications.
Position Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in communications, Journalism, Public relations, English, or a related field.
Two years of experience in writing, storytelling, or content creations for an organization, institutions, or publication.
Strong Editorial skills, including the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling narratives.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in veterinary medicine, healthcare, science communication, or higher education.
Knowledge of AP Style or other professional writing guidelines
Familiarity with digital communication tools, including content management systems, email marketing platforms, and social media scheduling tools.
Experience conducting interview and writing feature stories or profiles
Demonstrated photography and/or video storytelling skills.
Familiarity with CSU processes and constituents.
