ValGenesis now seeks to reinforce its lead position by upping our product’s user experience. To support this direction, we’re adding an expert Copywriter to our global team of UX designers, researchers, and developers.
This position encompasses all elements of UX writing (Copywriting) done right with special emphasis on creating a functional Design System.
The UX Copywriter will be responsible for playing a vital role in driving the UX initiatives and collaborating with the UX design, research, product, and engineering teams, and reporting to the Senior Director of UX. The main objective of this role is to Enrich and prepare product content (text) and specifications for publishing in our systems. Furthermore, you will edit and upload pictures of products to the company's media library.
Responsibilities
Enriching product contents
Formulate comprehensive content writing standards and guidelines for Valgenesis in English
Creating content standards for the design system.
Keep accessibility standards in mind when creating content standards or writing content
Understand the brand and devise content standards and guides based on the brand
Become the advocate of the content as well as train team members about the content guides
Coordinate, support, and educate UX designers in their day-to-day roles as well as carrying out their specific tasks
Manage the workload, communicate, and report to the stakeholders
Be responsible for overseeing the training of knowledge
Arrange regular reviews with team members to assist in organizing and developing the team, to maximize staff performance and potential.
Provide regular coaching and feedback to the team to improve performance
Requirements
Five or more years of professional, content, or copy writing experience
Exceptional writing and research skills
Good overview of SaaS platforms
Background in Pharma & Medicine is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
Preferred skills and qualifications
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in English, communications, or related
discipline
Working knowledge of Miro & Figma is a plus
Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guides
Experience with content management systems
Keen eye for detail
