Contract Writer (Software Development Content)

Poley Creative is looking for a writing partner who can help us turn our clients’ technical documentation into scripts that will be produced as online courses and lessons for their internal and public-facing channels, YouTube, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

Turn technical content and company documentation into scripts for online learning
Develop, write, and edit material for into educational scripts for use by a third party software companies
Write and conduct interviews with software developers, engineers, and/or product managers to inform the development of this content
Ability to take technical subject matter and make it understandable for both technical and non-technical audiences
High level familiarity with programming languages, technical topics, and an overall interest in technology

Audience:

Developers, programmers and engineers with an interest in technology
Tech Enthusiasts interested in the latest trends and applications

These videos will live on YouTube, on the client company’s website, and will have smaller excerpts modified for social media platforms.

Please have two or three samples of your writing available to share. Must be willing to sign an NDA.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
