ELYSIAN, an international luxury lifestyle magazine created to inspire and reflect the interests of women over 40, is looking for writers for our print and digital platforms. This position can be remote. Founded in 2015, ELYSIAN has been recognized for the past three years for editorial and design excellence against some of the world's largest publishing houses. Wishing to continue this trend, we are searching for seasoned and mature writers. Our ideal candidate would be a versatile and deadline-driven utility player. Our readers identify as lifelong learners, so we are looking for someone with an insatiable curiosity. Story topics range from travel and technology to beauty and style, as well as longer biographical pieces. You may find yourself writing about architecture one week and philanthropy the next. This position requires shorter articles for the weekly ELYSIAN newsletter, along with longer feature-length stories for the print edition, which is published quarterly. Some travel may be required for quarterly launch events. We will hire writers for a monthly retainer for an agreed-upon number of articles for the first three months, leading to a full-time position.
