Copywriter (Email Marketing, D2C)

Boutique women-owned email & sms marketing agency is looking for a talented creative writer. Our agency works with D2C e-commerce brands within a variety of industries (Skincare, Finance, Education, Beverage, Appliances, Retail, and so much more). We value the relationships we build with our clients and work hard to deliver high quality work that produces results. This is a contract position.

This role must be able to blend industry-specific language, research-based writing, and strong call to actions in the unique tone and voice of a variety of brands and industries. Writer will compose value propositions, content highlights and briefs, and original email/sms copy.

Responsibilities include:

Work closely with the account strategist to understand the client's needs
Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the brand's tone of voice and messaging to ensure all copy is consistent
Collaborate with other departments, such as design and marketing, to ensure that copy and visual elements work together seamlessly

Requirements:

Must have experience with D2C brands.
At least 3 years’ experience writing email and marketing copy for a variety of brands.
Basic understanding of client retention.
Ability to research subjects and write thoughtful, original content.
Impeccable grammar skills and attention to detail
Sensitivity to client tone and ability to write in the client's distinct voice
