The Copywriter is responsible for copy development on assigned tactics and working closely with Editorial, Art, and Account partners to help ensure that clients are satisfied with the quality of our creative work, the value of our services, and our responsiveness to their needs.
Creative/Hands-on Work
Works with Art partner to produce Brave, Authentic, Inspiring ideas and multi-channel tactics
Develops copy that is mostly clear and error-free, as well as correctly referenced and annotated
Works under the supervision of a more senior writer, often under tight deadlines, while juggling multiple projects
Understands that advertising is a service industry that sometimes requires extra time and effort to meet client commitments
Leadership
Develops excellent relationships with supervisor, Art partner, Editorial partner, and Account team
Demonstrates an understanding of assigned brand(s) and relevant marketing challenges
Proactively shares copy with their supervisor and Art partner for input
Presents copy with enthusiasm to gain buy-in and negotiate changes
Qualifications:
1-2 years’ pharmaceutical advertising agency experience
BA degree or equivalent business experience within the pharmaceutical or related industry
A track record of creative ability and judgment; collaborates successfully with others; developing presentation skills; proven copywriting skills in all media; interested in learning about science and healthcare
