Moose Knuckles is looking for an experienced Copywriter with proven experience in both narrative brand building and tactical copy development to create, write, proofread and edit all brand copy.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the voice of a growing brand with a particular focus on developing our luxury yet irrelevant tone of voice.
Every word will be within your scope, from collection naming and storytelling, sales presentations, website category and SEO text, product descriptions, social media, press releases – tying together the narrative developed in collaboration with our visual creative team.
The Copywriter will work close with a range of cross functional teams including merchandising, production, ecommerce and retail to understand the various needs of the business, while balancing the creative objectives of the brand.
As fast a growing brand you will build out systems to ensure you are receiving the information and detail required to support your writing process.
You will have access to a network of freelance writers to support during high volume periods.
Some of what you’ll do:
Write, edit and oversee all customer facing written communication.
Work closely with internal teams to participate in all stages of the creative process, from brainstorming to conceptual development, thereby contributing to creative strategies.
Establish tone of voice and copy guide to ensure consistent messaging strategy across all channels
Develop systems for managing multiple processes, partnering with the marketing team to streamline briefing and information sharing processes
Tailor output to ensure clear, concise and persuasive communication is aligned to the target audience and project scope
Manage a network of freelance writers to ensure projects are delivered on time and to brief
Some of what you’ll need:
Three to five years of relevant experience, preferably in a Luxury brand setting.
A bachelor’s degree, preferably in English or related major
Excellent writing and editing skills with demonstrated experience in conceptual writing in marketing or advertising, Web, product, brand messaging and promotional copy
Experience in an environment working with marketing, advertising or PR campaigns, print and social media preferred
Ability to think strategically and conceptualize creatively
Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times
Strong presentation and verbal communication skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and with a fast-paced team
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to own projects, demonstrate good judgment when working with team members and client contacts, and take initiative
Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail
Nice to have:
Experience in performance and functional copywriting.
