Copywriter

JGPR is actively seeking a Copywriter for its North Andover, Massachusetts office. The successful candidate will be able to fit into our easygoing work culture, but also pivot and react quickly when crises emerge. The Copywriter is expected to develop positive relationships with clients, and with local, regional, and statewide print and television reporters, editors, and assignment desks. The Copywriter will have a primary focus on education, but also will be asked to work with municipal, public safety, non-profit, and for-profit clients as well. The Copywriter will draw upon their news judgment and writing abilities on a day?to?day basis, while building an understanding of client relations and PR strategy. Past successful JGPR employees have had experience writing on deadline for a daily or weekly news publication or other news outlet.
