THE ROLE:
As part of our growth, we are establishing an in-house Creative team, and we are seeking a talented Copywriter to join us. This role will work closely with our Marketing and Communication & Engagement teams to craft compelling written content for a variety of mediums, including brochures, online and offline advertising campaigns, video scripts, press releases, articles, website landing pages, and more. The Copywriter will be responsible for creating engaging and thoughtful copy that aligns with our brand values and resonates with our diverse audience. This role will collaborate with various teams, including Marketing, Communications & Engagement, Customer Service, Operations, and Hospitality, to ensure that our messaging is consistent, caring, thoughtful, and compassionate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Write captivating copy for marketing materials such as brochures, online and offline advertising campaigns, video scripts, speeches, press releases, articles, and eDM content.
Collaborate with the Marketing and Creative teams to interpret briefs and provide content solutions that cater to our diverse audience.
Support the strategic narrative of SMCT in collaboration with the Communications & Engagement team.
Adhere to SMCT brand and writing style guidelines to maintain a consistent brand voice.
Manage multiple tasks efficiently while paying strong attention to detail.
Create content tailored for various channels, including brochures, social media, press ads, video scripts, website landing pages, eDMs, event invitations, signage, articles, speeches, and press releases.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders from various departments.
Gain a deep understanding of Marketing and Communications & Engagement content strategies and provide valuable input based on research and industry trends.
ABOUT YOU:
Copywriting experience across various channels, with a focus on Marketing and Communications copy.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated experience in writing for different platforms and mediums, including digital.
Ability to write in an engaging and thought-provoking manner.
Strong ability to simplify complex information into concise, digestible copy.
Effective communication with strong written and verbal presentation skills.
Use of qualitative and quantitative research to guide content decisions.
Creative problem-solving mindset.
