Copywriter (UX Writing)

The Browser Company is seeking a dynamic, fun and experienced Copywriter to join our team. As the copy owner across various touch points, both in-app and outside of the app, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the voice of Arc. This opportunity will collaborate closely with our Membership, Storytelling, and Design teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES


Crafting Arc's unique voice: Design and maintain Arc’s distinctive copywriting voice across a variety of channels including: in-app, website, email, social media, educational content

Owning member communications: Lead member updates, release notes, and product education emails — including project management, content design, and copy-writing

Streamline new features copywriting processes: Partner with Design, Storytelling, and Membership to establish processes around new features copywriting — from feature branding, to in-app copy, to launch materials, and updating the help center

Shaping the Arc Help Center: Own content design and copywriting for the Arc Help Center

Style Guide Evolution: Develop and contribute to our writing style guide

QUALIFICATIONS


5+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, and/or copywriting within a fast-paced technology company

3+ years of experience designing and maintaining voice, tone, and content strategy for a team or product guidelines.

Demonstrated ability to transform complex and technical concepts into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand language — with character!

Experience working effectively with designers, product managers, and user researchers.

Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment with evolving constraints.

Ability to share a portfolio containing UX writing and/or content samples.

COMPENSATION

This is a part to full-time independent contractor (1099) position. Compensation for this role is $75-$140/hr dependent on experience.
