The Cortland Standard seeks two full-time reporters for our print and digital publication. Be aggressive, be versatile, be clear and concise. We dare you to help a community make itself better, even as you make yourself better. We're experienced trainers looking to expand our tool box. If you have the skills, we'll tailor the assignment to meet them. If you're new, we'll give you skills to build a career. In particular, we're looking to try new approaches with a new website -- podcasts, livestreams, video and zines. The Cortland Standard is an award-winning 4,000 circulation daily in the Finger Lakes region of New York, a college town five minutes from year-round outdoor fun and just a few hours to cool places like New York, Toronto and Philadelphia.
