Courthouse Reporter

Courthouse News Service is seeking a reporter based in New Hampshire to cover new court filings for our daily litigation reports. A legal background is not required, but demonstrated ability in journalism is necessary. The job will entail visiting the superior court clerk's office in Manchester every weekday afternoon to summarize new civil complaints from across the state, as well as covering additional courts remotely. The reporter will also have the opportunity to write stories and features for our news website, with a focus on courts and regional stories of national interest. Competitive pay is offered for approximately 30-40 hours per week, and benefits are available.
