Happy is seeking a highly skilled Technical and Creative Writer to join our team. As the Technical and Creative Writer, you will play a crucial role in communicating Happy's mission, values, and services to diverse audiences. You will be responsible for crafting engaging and informative content that resonates with academic, clinical, and lay audiences alike. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of data and mental health concepts, coupled with a flair for creative storytelling and marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation: Produce high-quality written content across various mediums, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, marketing materials, and social media posts.
Technical Writing: Translate complex data and clinical insights into accessible and engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Creative Writing: Develop compelling narratives and storytelling techniques to convey Happy's message effectively to different demographic groups.
Audience Segmentation: Tailor content to resonate with academic, clinical, and lay audiences, ensuring maximum impact and engagement.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and research to align content with company goals and initiatives.
Research: Stay updated on industry trends, mental health research, and data insights to inform content strategy and development.
Editing and Proofreading: Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Branding: Maintain consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all written materials to reinforce Happy's brand identity.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Psychology, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in technical writing, creative writing, and content creation.
Deep understanding of data analysis, mental health concepts, and clinical research methodologies.
Exceptional writing skills with the ability to adapt style and tone to different audiences.
Strong attention to detail and excellent editing and proofreading abilities.
Proficiency in content management systems, SEO best practices, and social media platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote team environment.
Passion for mental health advocacy and a commitment to destigmatizing mental illness.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and understand technical concepts
Create and update technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and release notes
Edit and proofread documents for grammar, clarity, and consistency
Organize and structure information in a logical manner
Conduct research to ensure accuracy of technical content
Use tools such as Word processing software, Visio, and other relevant software to create visually appealing documents
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and incorporate changes into documentation
Ensure documentation adheres to company style guides and standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
