Copy Editor

Calling all Copy Editors with experience in APA style. Our non-profit partner is looking for a Copy Editor to join their team in a full time capacity.

This is a full time, direct hire hybrid position located in North Canton Ohio. Client would ideally like this individual onsite 2-3 days per week.

This Copy Editor will be responsible for:

Editing and proofing in APA style
A bulk of the work will be editing curricula for STEM programs targeted at high school students
Editing various marketing materials from blogs, to product copy, graphics, websites, video scripts, etc.

The Copy Editors required qualifications are:

Experience with APA editing style
Meticulous attention to detail, including formatting, comprehension and clarity, grammar, spelling, and consistency in content.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Must have excellent editing and proofreading skills for a range of assets, such as curricula, blogs, graphics, websites, video scripts, creative content, etc.

The Copy Editors preferred, but not required, qualifications are:

Experience editing educational programming or curriculum, preferably in the STEM space
BA degree in English, Communications, Journalism or other related field
