Creative Copywriter

As a Creative Copywriter at And Begin you will be responsible for creating high-quality long and short form copy. From informative blog articles, to customer journey emails, paid search and social ads. Your role will be instrumental to communicating effectively with our customers and ultimately increasing And Begin’s revenue and profit.

This role has strong ties to the Design, Growth and Commercial Teams, the successful candidate will thrive working autonomously and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in copywriting with strong expertise in the principles and implementation of SEO.

What you'll do:

Write high-quality copy that embodies our original and standout brand tone of voice guidelines, and connects emotionally with our target audience
Work closely with our Digital Product Designer to write copy for all areas of our website that prioritises clear and effective communication whilst also consistently bringing to life our brand personality
Write captivating copy for new service emails in our customer journey to keep our customers engaged and informed
Research, plan and write informative and inspiring long form copy for blog articles
Develop compelling concepts, subject lines, body copy and CTA’s for our email marketing campaigns
Write attention-grabbing marketing copy for our paid search and social ads
Research, plan and write on-brand educational guides and FAQ’s for our website and customer experience communications
Be involved in the creative process of naming our new products and ranges
Write informative press releases related to our latest company initiatives
Research and generate original content ideas for our organic social channels

Who you are:

Precise use of language and grammar gained from 5+ years experience as a writer
Experience within skincare, beauty, health or wellness industry preferrable
Experience writing for our target demographic of women 45+ is advantageous
A meticulous attention to detail coupled with the ability & willingness to work at pace
Fantastic knowledge of the principles and implementation of SEO
The ability to be become immersed in our brand tone of voice and always have our target customer and their needs front of mind when writing brand copy
Experience in, or an eagerness to learn, how to use data and analytics to inform and optimise creative
Exceptional organisational, written and verbal communication skills
Great collaboration skills and a willingness to work in a fast paced start-up environment
