Who You Are
Are you a skilled storyteller who enjoys creating engaging marketing content? Do you excel in a collaborative environment and have experience in cybersecurity? We're looking for a PR Manager & Writer to help create and promote compelling cybersecurity content. This role involves overseeing PR programs and working with subject matter experts to produce various content types. You'll collaborate with different marketing teams to raise awareness, generate demand, and enhance our brand. Additionally, you'll work with our PR agency to secure press coverage and develop PR strategies aligned with our company goals.
What You Will Be Doing?
Create various product-focused content, including whitepapers, presentations, blog posts, customer case studies, ebooks, infographics, research reports, and articles to showcase our expertise.
Proactively seek mentions and features in media outlets.
Develop and execute a PR strategy aligned with the company's goals.
Prepare press materials for pitching to media.
Communicate with precision, selecting words for maximum impact.
Tailor content for specific personas and industries.
Extract valuable insights from analyst reports and research sources to support content development.
Responsively handle media commentary requests.
Collaborate with Critical Start subject matter experts and executive leadership to craft compelling content.
Maintain a corporate content and PR calendar.
Define, track, and report key metrics to measure the success of content and PR efforts.
Take ownership of achieving goals related to share of voice, media mentions, content views, and Ideal Customer Profile discovery meetings.
What You Will Bring?
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience as a content writer in the B2B field, including prior PR experience.
Proficient in creating cybersecurity content, especially product-related material.
Proven history of successfully managing PR agencies and meeting share of voice and press mention targets.
Exceptional abilities in copyediting, communication, and project management.
Holds a Bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field.
Desired Qualifications:
Familiarity with or experience using tools and platforms like WordPress, Asana, Adobe Creative Suite, Marketo, and Salesforce.
