About The Role
The CrowdStrike Editorial Team is seeking a motivated and experienced writer to join us as we scale and evolve the CrowdStrike story. Reporting to the Editorial Director, this role will be involved in a range of writing projects to inform our readers of CrowdStrike news and products, cybersecurity trends and technologies, and other key topics.
What You'll Do
You will work with our editorial team and internal marketing teams on a broad range of writing projects including blog posts, white papers, eBooks, customer case studies, and more. You will focus on telling the story of CrowdStrike customers, products, and partners, bringing content into the market to cultivate, nurture, and activate the CrowdStrike community to drive demand.
The ideal candidate is a natural storyteller and bold communicator with a creative mindset. We’re looking for a team player capable of delivering rich, informative content in a way that drives awareness, education, and engagement. A background in writing about technology and/or business IT is desired; experience in writing about cybersecurity is highly preferred. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong writer to join a fast-growing and market-leading enterprise technology company.
What You’ll Need
4-6+ years of experience in writing for the IT or cybersecurity industry in a marketing, communications, or journalism role
Portfolio of writing samples demonstrating professional writing ability; technical content a plus.
Proficiency in synthesizing information from various sources to form a strong narrative
An interest in, and ability to stay current on, the changing cybersecurity industry
Excellent English language and grammar skills
Ability to work autonomously and effectively through competing priorities to meet deadlines
