As Fitness Writer, you'll produce news stories, advice articles and contribute to fitness features, which will appear both online and in print. You'll work with the digital and magazine editors to devise a content plan which will ensure there are at least five new pieces of fitness content published on the website each week, and produce well researched features, exploring different ways that cyclists can optimise their training, nutrition and recovery to become better riders.
You'll publish fitness news stories, covering everything from the findings from new studies, to changes in fitness hardware or software - such as new features available on virtual training platforms or power meters. You'll work with contributors - such as coaches, physiotherapists and nutritionists - to lead our popular ‘Ask a Cycling Coach’ franchise, and with freelancers and other members of the Cycling Weekly team to publish regular first person fitness articles describing changes made to routines and the effect these had.
