Local Government Reporter

Be an integral part of the future of the Daily Herald, the only daily newspaper in Utah's second-most populated county. This reporting position helps plan and produce engaging stories of both broad, general interest and on specific topics revolving around local government within Utah County with specific focus on the Utah County Commission, Sheriff's Office and the goings on of the County Attorney. The reporter will become ingrained in the local community, becoming an expert on who’s who and what’s what of Utah County's southern cities. You will have an opportunity to help shape and develop coverage to best serve our readership.
