Senior Reporter

The Daily News-Record, a daily newspaper located in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley, is looking for a Senior Reporter to join our team based in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Here, we dig into local issues in our community and are looking for the right fit in our energetic newsroom. We are looking for a sharp-eyed Senior Reporter who can step into the number two position in our news department and be a leader. Duties include writing daily news stories for print and web, editing copy for content, grammar and AP Style and clearing pages for publication. Our Senior Reporter will be coworking with reporters, photographer and page designers, and must have experience as a reporter.
