At Decoded, a mid-level creative Copywriter is a curious and open mind with campaign and ideation experience, yet, still learning to hone their craft. This position has a solid foundation of in concepting and can put together a deck of their ideas. The role should have some light to medium experience in production. In this role, creatives are getting comfortable in front of clients and have had some form of exposure with presenting and selling ideas in high level meetings. They have the ability to juggle a variety of projects while making deadlines.
This is a crucial position in the creative department and must be held by reliable, thoughtful, and independent creatives.
Roles And Responsibilities
Although specific positions (Art Directors, Copywriters) will dictate a creative's undertaking, there are several core responsibilities common to the role at Decoded.
A writer can craft anything from headlines to long format scripts, they have experience writing in a variety of tones and genres and can quickly adapt the voice of a brand across all types of mediums, whether that be a paid social ad to a radio spot to a testimonial film.
Concepts
Mid-level Creatives will work under the guidance of an Associate Creative Director or a Creative Director to develop concepts and directions for creative ideas, campaigns, and executions. This will require them to make conceptual and stylistic decisions, including prototypes to illustrate their idea to other members of the team or management. This work can be done in conjunction with teams they're reporting to or working alongside.
Daily Workload
Decoded mid-level creatives must have the ability to work on more than one project at a time. This includes abiding by timelines, receiving direction, and collaborating - all with a great eye for detail.
