JOB PURPOSE
As a Junior Copywriter, you will join our global Copy Team made up of 25+ people around the world. You'll create compelling marketing and social content for clients, provide support to the Paris Copy Team, and collaborate with the wider FR Creative Team. You will write for all digital channels, providing on-brand website copy that drives clicks and engagement.
Working closely with the Paris Copy Team, you will follow and improve upon creative standards, processes, and guidelines to maximise quality and minimise churn. This role requires a genuine passion for the craft of copywriting, an affinity for brand storytelling, and a keen eye for detail.
This is a 6 month fixed term contract, part-time position: approx. 20 hours per week.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the Paris Copy Team with their daily work
Create clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients’ onsite marketing
Iterate on copy changes quickly and effectively with guidance from senior Copywriters
Adhere to clients' tone of voice and brand guidelines
Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration
Collaborate with Designers
Contribute to team creative brainstorms
Proactively support other Copywriters regionally and globally
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Mastery of French language and grammar.
Understanding of UK and US English
0-1 years copywriting experience; a background in agency or brand is preferred
Experience in the e-commerce/retail environment a plus
Exposure to multi-channel digital copy and brand development; a background in social media content and copywriting preferred
Ability to create marketing content that sells
Confidence in working with other Copywriters and Editors
Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets
An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey
Ability to communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically
Collaborative approach to getting things done
